Wet Sand Twilight - Original photographic artwork by Heidi Smith
Twenty minutes after the sun falls below the horizon, the water gently washes the sand. I was almost chasing this scene toward the west as the light was fading fast. This image was captured during sunset twilight (also called "blue hour" in photography) when the sun is below the horizon and the light is soft and diffuse. I hope you enjoy.
