This is one of my favorite trees. This is a Forest Pansy Redbud tree that I planted on my property as a birthday gift to myself almost 6 years ago. It has wonderful year 'round interest. In early spring it has beautiful tiny pink flowers covering the branches, then the heart shaped leaves being to emerge. By mid-summer the leaves turn green and in autumn they turn shades of orange and gold, then they drop. Even the bare branches are beautiful.

I had my first camera since before my teens. I used a (Minolta) film camera up until about 8 years ago when my camera failed to function while on a trip to Yellowstone National Park.
