Sunset was at 8:03. This image was made at 8:40. It's incredible how long the beautiful dusk light remains after sunset, and it seems especially beautiful in summer. The ripples in the water crossing in front of the Queen Mary are from the steady stream of smaller vessels traveling in and out of Rainbow Harbor in Long Beach, California. Thank you for taking the time to view my images.

RMS Queen Mary is a retired ocean liner that sailed primarily in the North Atlantic Ocean from 1936 to 1967 for the Cunard Line (known as Cunard-White Star when the vessel entered service).
