I decided to also do "Sunflower Delight" in a digitally painted version, hence this result. I hope you enjoy.

The sunflower is an annual plant native to the Americas. It possesses a large inflorescence, and its name is derived from the flower's shape and image, which is often used to depict the sun.

I had my first camera since before my teens. I used a (Minolta) film camera up until about 8 years ago when my camera failed to function while on a trip to Yellowstone National Park. Although a little intimidated, I then ventured into the world of digital photography and I've never looked back. My passion is nature. I started out primarily photographing flowers, plants, and critters that I would find in my garden. I love gardening and the great outdoors.
