This is a view of the glaciers from atop Hurricane Ridge in Olympic National Park.

I'm really excited about this image. First of all, if you ever get to Olympic National Park make sure to visit Hurricane Ridge (weather permitting). The drive up to Hurricane Ridge is about 17 miles of scenic wonder. Subalpine meadows bloom with a multitude of colorful flowers. Once I arrived at the top of Hurricane Ridge I could see a long spanse of glacier covered mountain peaks. The second thing that excites me about this image is I discovered a way to give it an almost 3D look. I've also given this image a painterly look.

I had my first camera since before my teens. I used a (Minolta) film camera up until about 8 years ago when my camera failed to function while on a trip to Yellowstone National Park.
